A guide for contributors
This crowdsourced website offers you a chance to contribute products to our database, and to be credited for your help. Our team of Verifiers validates all products and countries of origin before they can appear on the database. You can find out more details on the Contributors page.

To save your time when adding products, have a look around the site first so that you become familiar with the categories (e.g. ‘Phones’, ‘Computers & Consoles’) and the sub-categories available, and so you know there will be a place for the product you want to submit.

When you connect to the Contributors’ Homepage you can select the ‘Add a product’ option. You just need to click on the product categories and sub-categories displayed to enter your products in the right place. The user-friendly interface will guide you to enter them one by one. It takes only about ten seconds to enter a product when you're familiar with the interface!

If you have any doubts on what to do, hover your mouse over the information bubbles and you’ll get details on what to do. Then, click on ‘Add a product’ or ‘Add, then add another location’ (if the complete product is assembled in more than one country, which sometimes happens, (for example, there are lots of car assembly plants that produce complete Toyota Corollas). That’s it! After validation by our team of verifiers, your products will be added to the database, and the results will be shown using Google Maps.
